DESERT TRIP - 2 DAYS

Day 1 : Marrakech - Aȉt Ben-Haddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mhamid/Erg Lihoudi Dunes
Day 2: Erg Lihoudi Dunes/M' Hamid - Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

During this trip you will experience:

We start at 07:00 in Marrakech and drive towards Tizi n'Tichka. With an altitude of 2206 meters it is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. On the way we will experience the colors of the High Atlas Mountains and pass through picturesque Berber villages. Our descent will take us to the Kasbah of Aȉt Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We have lunch at a local restaurant and join our guide for a tour of the site.

From here we continue to Agdz and the beautiful Draa Valley. We take a break in Zagora before reaching the village of M'hamid where our camels are waiting for us. A one hour camel back trek will bring us to our camp in time for sunset. Dinner will be served around the campfire while you enjoy the peace and tranquility of this very special place. Overnight in the desert camp in the dunes of Erg Lihoudi.

The sunrise over the dunes is a unique experience for the adventurous among you, and soon after we have breakfast.  We again mount the camels for the trek back to M'Hamid and the opportunity for a hot shower at a hotel. Our return journey will take us through Zagora and Agdz, with a lunch break and a guided visit to the cinema studios (optional) in Ouarzazate. We will arrive back in Marrakech around 18:00.
