Our host will meet us at the airport and take us to our accommodation, a typical riad in the heart of Marrakech. The rest of the day is free.

Morning at 8:00 departure from our riad in Marrakech to cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. After the Tizi n`Tichka pass, where we stop at a women`s cooperative for argan oil production, we detour south to Aȉt Ben-Haddou.

Morocco's most famous kasbah was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. After lunch, we will visit the Kasbah. Later we continue south via Quarzazate to Agdz. There we enjoy a wonderful view of the Draa valley with its thousands and thousands of palm trees. At the hotel there is enough time for a yoga session in the evening - on the terrace with a view of the date palms.

After a refreshing yoga session in the morning and a fortifying breakfast, we leave in the morning for Tamegroute, where we have the opportunity to visit an old Koranic library, whose roots date back to the 17th century. Tamegroute is also famous for its colorful Moroccan pottery, we can observe the production right next to the showrooms. Afterwards we drive through breathtaking lunar landscapes to the desert town of M`hamid. After a fortifying lunch, our drivers will take us by off-road vehicle to the great sand dunes of Chegaga.

Three full days are spent in the seclusion, silence and beauty of Morocco's largest sand desert. Look forward to unforgettable moments, the best food in Morocco, daily yoga practice in breathtaking surroundings, contemplation of yourself, the drum music and songs of the nomads at the evening campfire, and unforgettable starry nights.

After a last yoga session in the beautiful dunes of Erg Chegaga, we will set off with the off-road vehicles towards the west. We cross Lake Iriqui, which has been dried up for decades, and reach FoumZguid on a breathtaking route through stone desert (Hammada). From there we continue to Taznakht, a well-known village where Berber families weave beautiful traditional carpets. We enjoy lunch with one of the families.

On the way to Taroudannt we stop in Taliouine at a saffron cooperative. The saffron extracted there is known beyond its borders for its quality.

Overnight stay in Taroudannt, the "little sister" of Marrakech.

Travel time: 370 km, 7 hrs

The next morning we set off towards the coast, passing Agadir and Taghazout. Along the coast we pass thousands of Argan trees. Around noon we reach Essaouira, since 2001 UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free to discover the arts and crafts of the city and to plunge into the colorful hustle and bustle of the medina. The fishing port and the Scala de la Kasbah invite you to stroll around.

Essaouira`s beach invites you to relax.

The next morning we start our return journey to Marrakech. In the red city we have the afternoon at our disposal for a visit to the magnificent Bahia Palace or for strolling along Djemma El Fna and the Medina.

We spend a wonderful evening with a closing party to end this impressive week together.

The next day we will be picked up from the riad and transferred to the airport.
